A daisy in winter

I can’t let the day pass without acknowledging my mother, who passed from this world 11 years ago today. Although I feel her with me from time to time, I miss her corporal presence every single day. {The daisy is her symbol}

Many years ago I brought my parents to Yosemite in the winter. They were awed by its grandeur.

But I’m sure that even Yosemite pales in comparison to the splendors of their world now.
