Courage to persevere

December 12, 2014

I-can-do-it-Picture-QuoteLife is easy for the young, and don’t I know it, from my current vantage point. We move along from life event to life event and sure, there are challenges, but for the most part, we don’t think much about them. We just move along.

And then, one day, we’re challenged in a big way. There are hurdles to jump, higher than we’ve ever encountered. Persevering becomes more difficult. It takes a certain kind of courage to persevere. To say I can and mean it.

That’s what I”m talking about today over at Boomeon, right HERE.  I would appreciate your comments there or any social shares or tweets you are inclined to do. Thank you!

I love this blog. So true. It is amazing how we find the strength to get back up after being knocked down and move on. This is resilience.

Sometimes you just have to dig deep…really deep, and try to pull out whatever you’ve got to keep you going. I’ve found that with a good support system, and some soul searching, I usually can pull up something. It’s so sad for others who come up empty–they really need our support.

Love your Boomeon post this week. My favorite mantra: Be kind. Everyone carries a bag of rocks.

  4. Great post. I’m trying not to let fear rule my life. Need to practice saying “I can” all throughout the day.
