What’s a female curmudgeon called?

January 22, 2009

I thought this illustration was a bit over the top.

Caroline Kennedy’s foray into the political world was a bit shocking, given her evident dislike for the limelight or any prying into her personal affairs.

Her grumpy attitude toward financial disclosure amused me.

It’s not like she had any great desire to serve before now and I’m a little sick of this idea that all a Kennedy has to do is THINK politics and they are named. I know her camp is trying to spin it as “concern for her uncle” but no one is buying it. Everyone knows she wasn’t going to be the pick.

I’m kind of glad her brief foray into politics didn’t work out.
